Kelsey Quote
Keegan was standing in front of Kelsey, blocking Kelsey's view of the computer screen. After making a failed effort to get Keegan to move, Kelsey looked her in the eye and said in a threatening tone, "Are you aware that I beat Daddy in thumb wrestling?"

Yea! Pictures of Caitlyn!
Hooray! The dance school posted pictures from the first week of the intensive. Caitlyn has been gone for one week now, the longest I have ever been away from her (Yes, I know she's 15, get over it. :)
They have had several different teachers and she is having a great time. Caitlyn and Keegan have both gotten to take from Fernando before, and love him! They especially like his way of saying, "not saying any names..," while staring at whomever he wants to correct. Smile.
Love this shot. Caitlyn is the first one in the second row, with her back to the camera.
Partnering!
Ballet with Miss Amanda (Caitlyn on your front left.)
A great picture of a great group
*Rebekah, you really should be there, instead of off in California! And Karly, you should be there, too!

Many thanks to the Rathbuns for hosting Caitlyn!

How NOT to spend your day at the pool
I am starting to feel that pools are a bit hazardous for Kelsey. Last year she clonked her head and needed stitches. This year, well, see for yourself - This is Kelsey's toe. And no, that is not a bit of chipped nail polish. It is instead, concrete pool lining that somehow went under how toenail as she was playing. Ugh.
Toenail clippers and tweezers removed most of it, but there is still a piece broken off, too deep for me to reach. Ugh. Again. I think (hope!) it is slowly working its way out. Thankfully, no signs of infection. Hopefully this whole episode will soon be a (faint, fading, never to be remembered) memory!

Keegan Quote
Tuesday, Keegan was overjoyed to receive an e-mail from an English girl she met last summer when we were traveling. After answering her back, she commented, "I think that is my only correspondence from someone who is not an American citizen!"

Caitlyn's Adventure
days is an awfully long time for a mom who is used to having her kids close at home...
all for the love of ballet (and for the love of the girl who loves ballet :)....
with these great friends, she'll have so much fun!
Caitlyn is gone for two weeks to stay with a wonderful family and attend a dance intensive. It is such a fun opportunity, with super people, and I know she is having a ball! I, however, am home, thrilled for her, but counting the days until my "baby" comes home!

Optometrist, "How are you with your current glasses?"
Kelse, "Sometimes I have trouble seeing things, but other than that, I'm good."

Go, Kelsey!
It's so fun watching Kelsey in soccer this season. She has become such a player! She runs now...
<---------------
<---------------
She also challenges players who are coming her way. See, again?
<-------- Here she is, challenging this girl for the ball.
She enthusiastically high fives her teammates when they make a play and often thinks it's too hot for running (Oh, oops, maybe that last part isn't developing her soccer skills, but she comes by it honestly, I don't like the heat, either. ;)
