Kelsey Quote
Playing Yahtzee, Kelsey did not roll what she wanted and smacked her forehead. I exclaimed, "Kelsey! You just hit yourself in the head." She calmly answered, "Yes. These dice are distressing me."

Feline Obstacle Course
As if it is not enough that we normally ascend or descend the stairs with armfuls of laundry, library books, soccer bags, dance bags, soccer balls, basketballs, games, and, well you get the idea - as if that is not enough, we also often encounter these challenges.
The one on the upper step loves to grab hems and feet as they pass and the one on the lower step feels that if he is on it, it must be his private domain.
Just one of the small way our lives stay interesting :).

Summer Intensive (Revisited in November :)
Because I posted these on FB, but never blogged them.
Oops.
To recap in case anyone missed my previous whining comments -
this summer Caitlyn had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks with an incredible family we know and attend their studio's dance intensive.
Caitlyn is a homebody at heart, but loves this family, couldn't wait to go, and had a wonderful time.
These pictures are from the end-of-intensive performance.
Caitlyn immediately pointed out in this (what I thought was a nice) picture that she was drooping her wrists. This particular teacher had once had her tape pencils to her wrists to break this habit, haha.
As if it weren't enough to keep Caitlyn for two weeks, Keegan and Kelsey also got to go visit for a couple of days. They were thrilled. I was thrilled for them, but lonely for me!
Initially Bill was supposed to have his surgery while they were gone. Surgery was postponed, but the visit went on. What friends these are!
Keegan (and Katie and David, below) doing the hip hop dance.
Neat arrangement.
Caitlyn showing more zing than usual :).
Love this shot below.
Marc Wayne (from Kansas City, Mo - check him out on FB if you're that direction,) taught for a week. Love him. Caitlyn saying a difficult good-bye.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Tanya, Jamin, Brooke, Brielle, David, and Katie for the hospitality, friendship, and fellowship you gave my girls.
Oh, yeah, and the dance experience, too.
We love you!

Kelsey Quote
Bill, "Where did he [Paul Revere] ride on his ride?"
Kelsey, "On a horse!"
Kelsey, "On a horse!"
